Roy has been studying American Kenpo through the American Institute of Kenpo (AIK), an organization co-founded by Andrew Pilch and Shawn Knight.  To visit the AIK website, click here.  In February 2010, he was awarded his 2^nd degree Black Belt (Associate Instructor of the Arts).  "Until the last day!"

Roy's 16-year-old son, Taylor, was also awarded his 1^st degree Black Belt at the same time.
